Indoor, outdoor, permanent or one-weekend: each takes a different substrate and weight. We spec it before printing, not after it fails.
A banner has one job and a short window to do it. It either reads from across the room, or from a moving car, or it does not work, and the thing that usually kills it is not the design, it is the material and the finishing.
An indoor roll-up and a roadside banner are not the same product. One needs a stiff, non-curling film and a mechanism that will survive being packed and unpacked forty times. The other needs a heavier weight, reinforced hems, correctly spaced eyelets and, if it is going somewhere exposed, wind slits. We spec that before we print, based on where it is actually going and how long it has to stay there.
All of it is printed on our own large-format equipment, so the blue on your banner is the same blue as on the uniforms and the vehicle.
